At White Pattern,
we turn garments
into favourite pieces.

Just as the white canvas is the prerequisite for a painter to create a successful work of art, White Pattern is the basis for a successful garment.

The design of a garment can be sleek and sophisticated, but if the fit is wrong it will never leave the shelf.

The majority of online returns
are made up of garments
which do not fit.

We help support
in reducing your return rates,
maximising your profits.

1

Improved fit
At White Pattern, we offer realistic body-fits, inclusive of all sizes. We base our fits on body scan measurements provided by Size Germany / Avalution. Our mannequins are sourced from Sizemic, who use accurate, real body shapes in their products.

2

Managing your collection

Our Grafis experts are committed to making your ideas a reality. From grading, digitising and amending fit: the opportunities for further development are limited only to your imagination.

3

CO2 Footprint Reduction

Reduce further sampling costs and waste by up-to 100% using our services. We ensure that fits are accurate, minimising returns due to poorly fitting garments, greatly improving your SCOPE.

A poor fit should not exist!

Whether your customer has short legs, big boobs, bright blue eyes or sits uncomfortably in a wheelchair all day due to poorly designed seams:

at White Pattern, we tailor every pattern in accordance to the needs of your customers. With our range of specifically designed sizes, our fits are made to measure and adaptable. We use CAD Grafis to make altering the structure of shapes efficient and reliable.

As well as working with businesses, we are also proud to work alongside individuals helping them with their personal needs.

We develop shapes - not numbers.

You work with carefully developed and checked measurement tables and wonder why your standard products still have to be revised every season?

Fits developed using measurements charts are not measurable and cannot be duplicated.

Measurement charts will never be as accurate as digital patterns, with many factories having to start development from scratch. This not only wastes resources, but also increases your budget.

Task your Product Development team to develop a squad with a girth of X, and you will be surprised with the varsity of results you get. A digital pattern provides a single source of truth, massively reducing the chances of a measurement error.

Digital Patterns are duplicatable and measurable

Digital pattern fits remain the same across all seasons, providing a huge advantage over measurement charts as not only are your product returns reduced, but delays in the supply chain are also minimised: increasing your product turnover whilst providing your customers with a reliable fit.

Digitalisation

Do you have paper cuts or patterns that you want to convert to a digital format? Do you require physical patterns and samples in a digital format, or do you simply want to develop a new collection from scratch using digital patterns? At White Pattern, we work with CAD Grafis to digitise your patterns in the production formats AAMA, ASTM, and DXF as standard. Pattern may also be converted to Gerber, Assyst as well as many other CAD formats if required.

Training

As a company, we not only offer a consultation service, but also provide training to workers in the garment industry, educational institutions, freelance product developers: whoever may be interested! We are passionate about aiding in the supervision of the development of your collection, and advising on best sustainable development practices: maximising the profitability and reduction of waste during its development.

What do the Atacama Desert in Chile,
Antarctica and a wardrobe
have in common?

What sounds unbelievable, is in fact a sad reality: waste from garment production can be found discarded across every continent and ocean, visible even in the most remote corners of our Earth. Greenwashing is ubiquitous, with companies advertising ’sustainable’ or ‘green’ products; yet with no regulated or consistent definition of what that actually is, interpretations can vary drastically.

The United States is the global number one consumer of textiles per capita,
followed by the United Kingdom in second place.

The production of a single T-Shirt uses the same amount of drinking water that
1800 people would otherwise need daily to survive.

Every second, a truck load of textiles is incinerated or ends up at landfill.

Most of the responsibility lies with the clothing companies:

Polluting the environment can be reduced significantly by minimising the consumption of resources

1

Reduction of material consumption

Material consumption is the main contributor to the industry’s ecological impact. Therefore, we should be producing as little material and trim waste as possible through the whole production process.

2

Avoid unnecessary sampling

Material consumption can be reduced as far as 100% by using base shapes.

3

Opt for quality

Quality textiles not only help reduce waste, but also provides customers with a more durable product, increasing consumer satisfaction and trust.
